Order preparation
Orders placed on efori.it are generally prepared within 2–5 business days.
Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not counted as business days.
The preparation period covers the operations needed to check, prepare and hand the order over to the transport service.
This period is separate from the time subsequently required by the courier to complete delivery.
Shipping within Italy
The following conditions apply to orders delivered in Italy:
Domestic shipping.
Current applicable rate.
Free shipping in Italy.
The free-shipping threshold is applied to the order amount in accordance with the conditions displayed during checkout.
The cost of international shipping varies depending on the destination.
EFORI does not apply a single international shipping rate. The actual cost is calculated according to the available destination and shown to the customer during checkout before payment is confirmed.
Europe & worldwide
European shipping
EFORI ships to European destinations enabled at checkout.
The price may vary depending on the country and the conditions applicable to the individual shipment.
The actual cost is shown before the order is completed.
Non-EUInternational shipping
EFORI also ships to destinations outside the European Union where available at checkout.
In this case too, the cost varies depending on the destination.
Customs procedures, taxes and import charges may also apply.
How international shipping rates are calculated
International shipping rates may vary depending, among other things, on:
- country and delivery location;
- shipment characteristics;
- parcel weight and dimensions;
- available transport service;
- any surcharges applicable to the specific destination.
For this reason, EFORI does not publish a single rate valid for all countries.
The price available for the order is shown directly during checkout.
Duties, taxes and customs
For shipments to countries outside the European Union, the following may apply:
- customs duties;
- VAT or import taxes;
- administrative or customs clearance charges;
- other amounts required by the destination country.
Where such amounts are not already included or collected during checkout, they may be requested directly from the recipient by the competent authorities, courier or customs clearance provider.
Any charges requested by the authorities in the destination country are separate from the shipping cost shown by EFORI, unless checkout expressly states otherwise.
Delivery times
Delivery times may vary depending on the destination and the transport service used.
Factors that may affect delivery times include:
- delivery location;
- courier or service used;
- periods of high shipping volume;
- public holidays;
- weather conditions or other exceptional events;
- customs procedures for international shipments;
- other circumstances beyond EFORI's reasonable control.
Any dates or delivery times provided by the carrier are indicative unless they have been expressly agreed as a binding deadline.
Shipping services
EFORI may use different couriers, postal services and logistics operators depending on the destination, characteristics of the order and available conditions.
The use of a single carrier for all orders is therefore not guaranteed.
The carrier actually used may also vary between two orders going to the same geographical area.
This allows EFORI to select the service available for the specific shipment.
Shipment tracking
After the order has been handed over to the transport service, where the service used provides tracking, the customer is given the information needed to monitor the shipment.
Updates shown through tracking are normally provided by the appointed carrier.
There may be a short delay between creation of the shipment and the first tracking updates becoming visible.
Warehouse collection
Where available for the order, the customer may select warehouse collection directly during checkout.
Collection is managed as a dedicated delivery method and not through a discount code used to artificially remove the shipping cost.
Once the order has been prepared, the customer receives the instructions needed to collect it.
Via Dante Alighieri 68
20096 Pioltello (MI)
Italy
The customer should wait for confirmation that the order is ready before going to the collection point.
Delivery address
The customer is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the address entered during checkout.
It is important to check carefully:
- first and last name;
- street and house number;
- postal code;
- city;
- province or region, where required;
- country;
- any information necessary for delivery.
If the customer notices an error after completing the order, they must contact EFORI as soon as possible.
Once the parcel has been handed over to the carrier, EFORI may not be able to guarantee that the address can be changed.
Failed delivery and storage
If the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery, the carrier may:
- make another delivery attempt;
- leave instructions to arrange delivery;
- make the parcel available at a collection point;
- start a storage procedure under its own operating conditions.
The actual procedure depends on the carrier used.
The customer is advised to check any communications received and shipment tracking promptly.
Uncollected parcel or return to sender
A shipment may be returned to EFORI, for example, where:
- the address is incorrect or incomplete;
- the recipient does not collect the parcel within the carrier's time limit;
- delivery cannot be completed after the applicable attempts;
- the recipient refuses the shipment.
In these cases, EFORI will contact the customer to assess how the order should be handled.
Any actual costs incurred because of incorrect information provided by the customer, failure to collect or other circumstances attributable to the recipient may be assessed in accordance with applicable law.
Delivery delays
If a shipment appears to be delayed, the customer can first check the information shown in the tracking system.
If tracking is not updated or the delay appears significant, the customer may contact EFORI for assistance.
EFORI may carry out the available checks with the carrier and provide the customer with any updates received.
All consumer rights relating to delivery under applicable law remain unaffected.
Damaged parcel
If the parcel shows visible damage at the time of delivery, the customer is advised to inspect its condition and keep the packaging.
If the product is also damaged, EFORI should be contacted as soon as possible.
To help assess the issue, it may be useful to provide:
- order number;
- a description of the issue;
- photographs of the parcel;
- photographs of the damaged product;
- any other information requested by support.
The handling of a product damaged during transport is separate from an ordinary return due to a change of mind.
Wrong or missing item
If the customer receives a product different from the one ordered, or notices that an item included in the order is missing, they must contact EFORI.
EFORI will review the situation and provide the necessary instructions.
Where the error is attributable to EFORI, the customer will not be charged the costs necessary to correct the shipment.
Multiple items in the same order
Where possible, EFORI prepares items belonging to the same order for a single shipment.
In certain circumstances, however, an order may be handled in multiple parcels or separate shipments.
Where this happens, more than one tracking number or separate updates may be provided.
